Due to Popular Demand (and that I have the time free) I've added another Boot Camp in Philadelphia on Saturday, November 16th, 2024!!! Please read the info below.

Real World Shooting / Models 

8+ Hours of Learning at my studio in Philadelphia (8:30am to 5:30pm). Please keep in mind we might end up going into overtime as the end of the day is spent critiquing everyones work. So please take that into consideration.

Bring your gear (Laptop not needed). No need for flashes. Anything over 70-200 would probably be overkill.

It’s been over 10 years since I offered a FroKnowsPhoto Boot Camp. Even though camera tech has changed tremendously, the fundamentals have not and will not change. My goal at my Boot Camp is to help you see the world and capture it. It doesn’t matter if you’re a beginner, amateur, weekend worrier, advanced amateur or a pro. You’re going to leave the boot camp feeling great about what you learned.

We’re going to focus on the mentality of a photographer. That means slowing down, being patient and not just spraying and praying. We want to capture images with intent, and not focus on simply getting lucky.

I’m going to show you exactly how to walk into any situation and quickly figure out how to capture it. That means, helping you with the best settings from shutter speed, aperture and ISO, to which focus mode to use, what lens to choose and so much more.

The last part of the Bootcamp is spent critiquing everyone's work from the day. Don’t be scared or worried that I’m going to yell at you, this isn’t 1997 where the teachers were dicks, and loved trying to make people cry. I’m not going to make you cry…I’m going to frame everything in a way that’s meant to make you better, by focusing on what you did right and how you can improve. Remember, everyone at the Boot Camp is in the same boat, there’s so much you will learn from each other's work.

The biggest goal of my Boot Camp is to help you get answers to all your questions. I'm not going to just tell you what to do, we're actually going to do it.
